mame-extra software package provides Additional files for the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mame-extra
mame-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mame-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mame-extra *
You will get with mame-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
